We get inspired by sustainable ideas and thermodynamic technologies. Our challenge is climate stability.

Tricryo is an unapologetic inventors garage. The center origin fluid is nitrogen, with a minimal amount of successive steps to convert problems into sustainability solutions.

R&D Projects

Container sized LAES

Tricryo LAES is Tripolar's sustainable energy storage research project that stores energy as cooled air using a thermodynamic process. It targets industrial players with fluctuating energy generators and local energy communities.

Thermocircular air cooling

The Tricryo Aircooler research project aims to solve scenarios where heat pumps are prohibitive or where higher precision systems are required. Our goal is to lessen the global dependency on toxins, while relieving the impact of rising climate temperatures with a new approach.

Nitrogen based forest fire prevention

Our third upcoming research project aims to utilize nitrogen to autonomously extinguish sources of forest fires from a distance.

03 Koen Betsens

It might seem a bit odd, to interpret the name of Tripolar’s founder as a brand (or type about myself in third person). However, in the community of Art Departments and film set environments, it is the person who counts more than a slick company.

My expertise, built on-set, allows me to identify the real problems that SetOps can fix, as well as the challenges that need personalized, human care.
